Michelle is a knowledgeable human resources professional with over a decade of dedicated recruitment experience. A member of both CPHR Alberta and the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches, Michelle is driven by her desire to help job seekers achieve their career goals.

Did you know that on average an employer or recruiter takes just 5-7 seconds to screen your resume before deciding if you have been shortlist listed for a preliminary phone interview? That is not a lot of time to create a first impression!

Let’s not forget, before you even get to that 5-7 second window you must first pass the organization’s applicant tracking system (ATS). What is an ATS? To keep it simple… it is an electronic screening tool that is fast becoming the first level of resume screening for many organizations. It screens your resume for key words and phrases and pre-selects top candidates for review by the employer or recruiter.

Just as you would consider hiring a professional mechanic to fix your automobile, a realtor to help you buy or sell your home, or a financial expert to help you plan for your retirement, why not consider a professional resume writer to help you land your dream role? Why not consider the advantages of hiring an expert in Human Resources and the Recruitment Industry that really understands what occurs behind the scenes when screening applicants suitable for a role?

With nearly 20-years of human resources experience, over 10 of which has been as a talent attraction, advisor (a.k.a., a recruiter) - Michelle knows first hand and what can make a resume stand out and what can have a recruiter or hiring manager swiping left.

She knows what it takes to get noticed. A professionally written resume that is clear and concise, that showcases your success and that is tailored to the targeted company and its culture, all while reflecting who you are and your professional experiences. Gone is the age where a resume was a form that employers require be “filled out” before being granted an interview, a resume is a powerful career development tool that can help you negotiate top earnings, perks, and benefits.

Let her help you write the next chapter in your career history!
